Instead of being in the market all the time, it only enters when history has clearly spoken in its favour, and few trades also mean low cost. About eight out of ten trades ended in profit in the test, and the largest drawdown was only 2.5% at 1% risk.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003ePolaris' character is calm and accurate. There is little to follow, usually one trade a month, and the curve rarely moves much in either direction. Because it trades so rarely, the return is low if it runs on its own.
